What the Client Needed?

The Climate Change Committee (CCC) sought expert support to analyze responses and evidence from their Call for Evidence on Carbon Offsets. Their goal was to understand the market’s perspective on the current use of voluntary carbon offsets in the UK, along with associated risks and opportunities. This analysis was a key step in informing the CCC’s upcoming publication on voluntary carbon offsetting.

How we Helped them?

Call for Evidence of Offsets

MCC led the analysis of responses and submitted evidence to the recent Call for Evidence on Carbon Offsets by the CCC, which looked to better understand the market’s view of current offsetting usage in the UK, and associated risks and opportunities.

I was delighted that MCC's work was completed on time, and within budget, helping us deliver important changes and improvements, to the benefit of our stakeholders. MCC's report is published on the CCC website.
